|||...to err is dysfunctional, to forgive co-dependent...|||
many of my concerned friends has been asking how was my first day at my new workplace today (again after like 4 months? hee...). i'm so very touched that my friends do care and bothered to sms me. hmmm, or maybe they were wishing my new colleagues had tekan me? =X no la no la, i'm sure all of you very nice one RIGHT!
it was pretty uneventful and boring (almost fall asleep and pinch my thigh to keep myself awake) today because i didn't report at my new workplace due to my course for 3 weeks including 3 full day saturdays. *phew* not due for "action" till 10th october when i report back to centre.
its going to be a loooooooooong 3 weeks man. i wonder how i'm going to survive.
oh yah, talking about uneventful, just remembered something good lor.
i met up with an ex-colleague from hsbc for lunch and was late by 15 minutes going back for various reasons. it just so happens that my boss's boss's boss's boss was giving his welcome speech to the newcomers aka us aka me.
WA LAU, so heng right. of all timing, he had to chose that time just after lunch to come in. why he cannot come this morning. i was very punctual this morning can. even though i had to come to work at 8.30am instead of the usual 9am lor.
anyways, the best part was when i was waltzing in, he was on the topic of discipline and just so happen to be talking about punctuality can. how fantastic. *faints* end up i didn't dare to maintain long eye contact with him in case he conveniently single me out.
MY BOSS'S BOSS'S BOSS'S BOSS lor! a bad start. really bad. he asked for my name before he left somemore. (i mean i don't think solely myself la hor as i guessed he had most probably asked the rest before i went in, i think) HABIS...
well, that's something to mull about.
another would be i have to wake up at freaking 6.15am tomorrow onwards till training's over because training is at tampines and it starts at 8.30am thus with 1.5 hrs journey all the way to the east, i've to leave the house at 7am and another 45 minutes before that to bathe, change and get ready. *wails*
looking forward to end of training when i can wake up later again as new workplace is only a 30 minutes maximum bus ride away.
but then again, i do love training with 1 over hrs lunch and early knock-off than facing those "haven't make it yet but think they are there already" group of customers at work. that's what premier and priority banking is all about. the made-its are in the private banking group and they ARE the ones that are really nice and humble.
life is always such a delimma of love and hate can...
